From a Galaxy far far away…
Autumn 2019, it’s grey and very rainy. After having postponed the shooting date several times because of the bad weather, it’s finally time to fly back to the one of the most incredible place in Italy: the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese.
Few months after the shooting of the Carabo and the Lancia Stratos Zero, I had the great opportunity to shoot the Navajo, another forgotten concept car.
As a massive fanatic of Alfa Romeo and Marcello Gandini, needless to say that I had been waiting impatiently for this day for a few weeks and also that I could not sleep for days before my departure…
Love it or Hate it, the Navajo is a pure Gandini concept car. After the Carabo in 1968, the Navajo is therefore Bertone’s second concept using an Alfa 33 Stradale chassis and mechanics.
The main theme of this Navajo is aerodynamics, in an era that emphasizes science and technology.

I thank very much the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo for the great opportunity.
