Road trip to Geneva for an epic ride and shooting!
t’s that time of the year again when plans are already well underway for the upcoming 2020 GIMS (Geneva International Motor Show).
Unfortunately, the COVID virus decided otherwise… The GIMS is cancelled a few days before the opening but all is not lost!
But a true gentleman made the travel with his modern unicorn: the Pagani Zonda Cinque.
The sleep was short. Woke up at 3am for an early departure at 4am from Paris to Geneva and a planned meeting at 1pm. The weather is cold but good for photos, we decided to go in the snowy mountains at 80 km from Geneva.
Needless to say that this ride was definitely one of the best in my life. I couldn’t remove that smile on my face as the ride was simply amazing. The feeling, the sound, the smell, the scenery outside…
Including development mules, around 140 cars had been built. On these 140 cars, only five Zonda Cinque were built, with deliveries set to June 2009 for all five cars.
The Zonda Cinque was meant to be the last iteration of the Zonda, being a road-legal version of the and was developed at the request of a Pagani dealer in Hong Kong.
This particular Zonda Cinque spent most of his life in Hong-Kong before passing into the hands of the current owner who takes advantage of the best of this coveted object.
I can’t thank enough the owner for his kindness and for the epic ride in the beautiful snowy mountains of Switzerland.
Looking forward to the next adventures…
